Cyclone Larry 20-3-2006

Cyclone Larry crossed the coast near Innisfail at 7am on 20th March 2006 leaving a path of destruction in its wake.

We've shown some photos of the damage done to our building and we are happy to report that we are open and operating as normal.

We at IBS are committed to assisting a business less fortunate than ourselves. We have chosen to help Sandra and John Taylor who run the Innisfail Animal Refuge. The Refuge took in an enormous amount of displaced animals after the cyclone even though the refuge was extensively damaged. Sandra just couldn't turn away any lost or injured animal.

Sandra and John have produced a great DVD called "Cyclone Larry - the Aftermath" and all proceeds of the sale will go to rebuilding and refurbishing the Refuge. DVD's are available from the Refuge at Downing Street or IBS at 163 Edith Street.
